Hey there folks, I hope all is well around the globe. I am visiting my mother and sister in New Jersey for spring break. Catching up on all the sleep I haven't been getting for the last several months. Looking forward to getting back to Asheville and finishing the school year. This past year teaching 2nd grade has been a great experience. I have really enjoyed being around a lively group of 7-9 year olds. They're a lot of fun but also a lot of responsibility. This summer oughta be fun. I plan on heading to the coast, likely Ocracoke for about a week, hang around Asheville for a while, and then head out west,(maybe with Jesse) for a while and see some music and visit some places I have never been. Plus I'd like to make it to the Bay Area for a week. Hopefully I'll be able to fill it all in. In addition, I have made some pretty interesting and exciting 5 year plan decisions. I am now planning on teaching next year at the school I am at and then going to Japan for a year to teach through the Japanese government in the JET program. This program would put me in a junior high or high school classroom as an "english" resource. I am also planning on learning some things about computers these next few years. After talking with my sister, who is an environmental engineer/computer programmer, she has recommended a few things I could learn that would allow me some options in the future. There is a part of me that needs more intellectual stimulation than I am receiving as a school teacher. I have toyed with the idea of giving the Bay area and computers a test drive when I return from Japan, we'll have to see what happens.
Oh yeah, a few things. I now have another new email address as well as another phone number. MY new phone number is 828-299-7139, which is also Robert Tate's and John Dempsey's #. My email is now

keep in touch, I love and miss you all,
Len
