cosmic kisses to all of ya'll out there roaming wild and grand on our wonder rock...has been a mighty long time since i've touched base via galactivator cuz everything i've got to say has been said - so grateful i am for the words of inspiration, the heartsongs and the questions, you, my family, are truly wonderbeings and not a day goes by when i don't count my blessings and spurt out a few soundwaves singing praises gratitude.
the rundown on cherina's story - (the one that she writes and is written by) - i'm still in egypt (can't believe it myself - i've set a new record - past the 6 month point!) life is rad - i'm writing and editing the alternative health section of a not yet launched web site - soon to venture to western desert depths to write stories about sand baths and sinai herbs and midwifery and growing organic in the desert. met a funky egyptian composer who invited me to go down to zimbabwe and partake in an africa-wide music exchange - though you never really know how (or if) things will unfold in the middle east, i'm super siked by the prospect and may be hanging out on this side of the earth much longer than i anticipated - though it looks as if i'll be passing thru the hill for a week or so in midjuly if all goes well...hope to see some of you there...or if not there, thanhere...comecomecome-
walking thru caireen streets, struck with soothing melody of the call to prayer - my only indicator of time aside from the hot sun at midday...and the scent of mint and sheesha smoke rising up from every corner...climbing pyramids and sailing slow and free on mama nile, snorkling in sinai crystal waters filled with rainbow fish and friendly dolphins, playing dumbek and simsimaya under new moon star studded sky hashisha smoke dancing to drum's rhythm...it's a far out land - if anyone feels compelled to make the journey, my arms and home await you - and there's work to be had for all you genius writers and muscians, opportunities abound here.
